Program Synopsis

Existence Layers & Energy Sources

The program explores the different dimensions of human existence — body, mind, intellect, ... — enabling participants to understand how specific yogic practices influence each faculty.

Primary Asanas

The human body has over 600 muscles. Traditional yogic wisdom distilled movement into a set of core practices that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and overall wellbeing. Yogic masters such as मत्स्येंद्रनाथ, a revered exponent of हठयोग, emphasized foundational asanas that effectively engage and harmonize the entire body. We cover:

  1. Basic Shat Kriyas
  2. Sukshma & Sthula Vyayama
  3. Pranayamas
  4. Preparatory & Primary Asanas
  5. Yoga Nidra
  6. Meditation

Chronology of Yoga

We present a high-level overview of the chronology of yoga in India, tracing its evolution over nearly 16,000 years, beginning with आदि योगी. It highlights the four foundational pillars of yogic thought आदि शंकर, श्री कृष्ण, गौतम बुद्ध, and पतंजलि and introduces their core teachings that shaped yoga as a holistic path of life.

Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga

We also cover the पतंजलि योग सूत्र, which outlines yoga as a practical system for mastering the mind through अष्टांग योग, guiding one towards inner clarity, balance, and peace.
